People often go on an off-track adventure and return to the road with sticky tires covered with rocks and tar balls, which can seriously damage and destroy the radiator. If you are lucky, the damage will just be a clogged or bent fin, but if a rock punctures the radiator, it means you cannot ride any more. Its even possible for leaking coolant to cover the tires and cause a crash or enough overheating to lead to engine damage.
This guard protecs against all of that with style. 
The frame is cut from a sheet of 1mm stainless steel  for a combination of protection, durability and strength. ​​
